For the second week in a row and with opposition from Aberavon, Nantymoel RFC shared the spoils drawing 8 all against the Green Stars.

In a scrappy game that was spoiled by the horrendous wind Nantymoel lead 8 - 3 going into the final minutes thanks to a try by prop Nicky Hawkins which was his first for the club and a penalty by centre Shaun Webber.

But with 5 minutes to go the Green Stars were awarded a controversial try that appeared to have been ground short of the line. The subsequent conversion was missed which would have robbed Nantymoel.

Captain and outside half Ryan Davies praised the effort of the entire pack and the defensive display of the entire team.

This was a decent recent for Nantymoel although the team was gutted not to get another win.

There is no game for Nantymoel 1st next weekend with their next fixture home against Maesteg Celtic RFC on Saturday 19 December 2015.
